Let 'em pass

A good defensive driving course, such as that offered at the Florida online traffic school, can help you know what to do in situations like the following.

Let's say you're on a 4-lane expressway, on your way to work. The car behind you is right on your bumper, and has been since he first pulled up behind you. Because of the cars in the other lane, the driver behind you can't switch lanes and pass you. What do you do?

A) Slow down to 20 mph and extend the bird, really rubbing in that */$#'s face that you're not gonna take anything from him.
B) Slam on the brakes, making him run into you, so you can collect the insurance money—after all, he was tailgating and hit you, so it'd be his fault.
C) Speed up until he can get into the other lane, and then race him.
D) If there are only a few cars in the other lane, and you can create an opening by pulling ahead of them, do so—then the other driver will get into the next lane and move on.

Hopefully you chose D (if you chose A or B, please seek out an anger management class immediately).
